Pinewood Derby 2012

The 2012 Pinewood Derby for Scouts was on Leap Day this year. Wednesday, February 29th. Scott was pretty excited, as all the boys have been when this event comes up and he designed his car on paper. Jason cut the car/truck out with the wood saw and then Scott sanded and painted it. The night ended up to be a success. Scott's car came in 4th overall and he won the title of "Most Original car" so this earned him a spot at the District Pinewood Derby held at Coralridge Mall on March 31st at 10a.m. He is super excited to be able to race again. Scott's Car

The photo finish.  Scott's car always finished either first or second place.  Mostly second in all the races.  But within milaseconds of the first place car.  In this picture Scott's truck/car is in the 2nd lane.
