Yesterday Caleb left for Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. I managed to somehow get some pictures of him. He was being super silly in the picture on the left. Then the picture on the right was taken in the car by surprise, but I actually got a smile!
I cried when he left. This is the longest I will have ever been away from him. I hope he has a fabulous time and stays safe and happy!

Wow! 15 days is a long trip! Way to go on getting pictures of Caleb smiling...he must have been excited to go! Hope he has lots of fun! -Jen
Hey that's great! I remember when Jason went to Philmont. I remember thinking he had a great time, so I hope Caleb does to!
How exciting for him to go! I would smile, too, if I was able to go on such a great trip. I'm sure he will.
It hurts when kids leave - but he'll be back and he'll have some great stories to share.

K is being silly because that is natural for him. It is wonderful that he gets to go to Philmont. I know Jason is happy with that. Hope that all the kids get to go.
