Memories of Grandpa's house

On the way to the buriel of my Grandpa, his request was that we all drive by his home, through the gulf and covered bridge. When the funeral director stopped in front of his home, someone got out and took two roses from the top of Grandpa's casket and placed them on the mailbox. I took a few pictures of his home.

Here is the creek on the side of the house. This is where I collected frogs.

The covered bridge

Grandpa's resting place right next to Grandma.

What nice pictures. The grass is so green and the house is so neat. What are they going to do with the house now? Is someone living in it now or will it be sold? It looks like a nice place, well taken care of.

The house was sold quite a few months back. My grandpa has been living in Silver Sands Retirement home.

What a great covered bridge! It's nice you have a picture of the house for your memories too!

So sorry to hear about your grandpa, Michelle. I hope you're doing alright.
And yes - that covered bridge is beautiful - looks like something from a movie!
