It all started with Michelle Lewis from Ohio, and Jason Clark from California. We met on a bus in Chicago in January of 1992. This is a blog that documents our crazy life.

18.5 Hours
At 11:45 P.M. Central Time Jason walked through our front door.
He made the drive home from Utah in exactly 18.5 Hours.
Jason, Jared, and Brenden: it was fun to have you guys out here last week. Thanks for coming out and hangin' with the fam. I'm glad Brenden finally convinced Lauren to warm up to him! -Jess
I'm glad you made it home safely - wow, that's great time! We loved having you out here. I think Jared and Brenden are absolute dolls! (Sorry to embarrass you guys.) Those two boys were very respectful and helpful. Ammon loved having them here as well. Thanks for sharing your boys, Michelle. Hope you get some much-needed sleep, Jason.
We had a great time with your guys too Michelle! It was fun to watch Jared and Brenden be such great cousins! They were really helpful and fun to be around. I'm glad Jason got you all home safe and sound! Jason, we found an ipod left there at mom's we think might be Brenden's. Hope to see you all this November for Thanksgiving!
I'm glad to hear that Brenden was nice while he was there, however here at home he is absolutely awful and usually always is. He threw the biggest tantrum ever today and for an 11 year old that is totally unacceptable. I would expect such behavior out of Scott, but he doesn't even act that way. Only Brenden has horrid behavior. I guess you all saw the good side and I get the bad.
I must say, I was also surprised by the Jeckel and Hyde act. Brenden was wonderful in Utah but on Thursday he flipped out. I warned both boys as we were driving home that we were returning to reality, that on Thursday there would be a return to normal responsibilities. Brenden was not happy when he realized that I expected him to do his job and clean his room. I am sure that having older brothers around to tease him didn't do any good either.
