Pella
So, have you ever wondered where the Pella Window company gets it's name? Me neither, however, just in case, Pella Windows is located in Pella, Iowa where we spent last evening at the Klompen Klassic 5K race. The Klompen Klassic is the official beginning of the Pella Tulip Fesival. Neither Michelle nor I ran the race but Scott ran the kid's race and both Alyssa and Brenden ran the 5K. Brenden finished in 22:25 and Alyssa (in her first 5K) finished in just over 43:00. There were over 2200 racers.

By the way, Brenden's time tied him for 5th place out of 64 YM in the 11-13 Y.O. division.
Way to go, Brenden! This kid is going to be a speedster with a little more experience. That's awesome! I'm glad Alyssa and Scott ran as well.
What a great family activity.
Wish we had some of those Pella windows.
