I just had a tomato sandwich for lunch and it was the best thing ever.
If you've never had one, you are truly missing out big time.
Our hometeacher came over on Sunday and brought us some garden tomatoes (the best kind)
Today I toasted some bread, spread it with light mayonaise then sliced one of those fat juicy garden tomatoes and put slices of it all over the bread.
Then I ate it all!!!!

Wish you were here to indulge in our garden-full of tomatoes. We have given bushels (!) away since I haven't been home to take care of them. They are huge and beautiful. You and I could sit there and eat a whole tomato together and grin and enjoy. Nothing better!
all that sandwich needs is a little bacon and some lettuce and then you'd have a masterpiece. mmmmmm
Brent loves a good tomato sandwich too! I usually prefer a little something else on them, but I agree that homegrown tomatos rock!
Tomatoes are disgusting!
