Jared is 16!

I don't know what took me over a week to post this, but Jared turned 16 and we had a mini celebration for him. He picked this restaurant to have dinner at Bandanas BBQ in Coralville, IA.   Here are a couple pictures.

2012 Memorial Day--Williamsburg, Iowa

For Memorial Day this year our family was invited out to Tracy and Steve's home in Williamsburg. My children were all very excited because being at their home is so fun and there is so much to do.

The weather was perfect.  A nice hot day so we could enjoy swimming, but not too hot to be uncomfortable.  The day was amazing, just wish I lived closer so we could go to her house every weekend.  I knew all the children had fun when a couple of them asked me when do we get to go back?

 Both Tracy and I made a lot of food to enjoy. Here are a bunch of pictures of the fun day:

Our dump is on fire

Last Saturday on the way home from a graduation party we were attending we noticed there was a large fire in the distance. Our landfill was on fire. We didn't know then that a week later it would still be on fire because they are refusing to put it out, so meanwhile we all get to breathe in burnt tires whenever the wind changes directions our way. Here are a couple pictures we took:
